Our North Shields jib development has followed along with our mainsail development as our current jib features a split panel layout to provide superior distribution broadseam shaping creating a smoother, faster and more durable sail. Since the loads on the Shields jib are high, durability and shape holding are critical. The North Shields jib (along with the North Shields main) has won more championships for Shields sailors than any other sails combined.
